About me

I am a Licensed Psychologist, Diplomate of Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and Geropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. I received my Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in 2023 and completed my doctoral internship at the University of Alabama Birmingham - Birmingham VA Medical Center Consortium (VA Track). I am a member of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine and serve on their Clinical Practice Committee. In my clinical and research work, I focus on geropsychology and behavioral sleep medicine, particularly the study and treatment of nightmares.
